New Member Orientation
The New Member Orientation is designed for new SASB and standing committee members to become familiar with the structure of the IEEE-SA, policies and procedures relevant to the IEEE-SA Standards Board and its committees, and volunteer duties. Returning committee members may opt to attend for a refresher. New SA staffers are welcome to attend. An overview will be presented by John Kulick, IEEE-SA Standards Board Chair, and Claire Topp, IEEE-SA outside legal counsel. The orientation will be held on Monday, 24 March.
The Forum/Meet-Up provides an environment where subjects of interest to the IEEE-SA standards community can be discussed in an informal setting. The Forum (topic TBD) will be held on Tuesday, 25 March, 5:30pm-7:00pm at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, New Brunswick, NJ. Dinner will be held afterwards. The Hyatt offers complimentary parking to Forum/Dinner attendees; this does not apply to overnight guests.
Standards Board Meeting
Board members are asked to arrange their schedules to be present for the entire meeting as the entire body is responsible for all decisions that are made during the meeting. Meeting agendas will be available at a later date.

The cut-off date for Hyatt guestroom reservations at this rate/block is Friday, 28 February 2014. After that date, reservations will be accepted on a space available basis. Please make your reservation as soon as possible.
