• Standard Deluxe Room: $189 (Single/Double) + tax per night. The group rate (code: IEGIEGA) is available for guest room bookings between Tuesday, 3 December – Thursday, 12 December 2024.
• The group rate includes complimentary Wi-Fi. Breakfast is NOT included in the guestroom rate but will be offered as outlined on the Meeting Schedule.

After 15 November 2024, the group rate is not guaranteed and will be accepted upon availability.

We recommend that you book your room reservation ASAP if you wish to stay onsite at the Bridgewater Marriott. Last year several people ran into a sold out situation and were not able to book a room onsite.

• Parking is free at the Bridgewater Marriott
• The Bridgewater Marriott is approximately 33 miles from Newark International Airport (EWR)
  • 30 minute drive (Uber fares: approximately $80-$100 each way)
  • 45 NJ Transit train ride to the Somerville station
• The Bridgewater Marriott is approximately 60 miles from JFK International Airport (JFK)
  • 90 minute drive (Uber fares: approximately $150 – $175 each way)
  • Airtrain to LIRR train to NJ Transit train to the Somerville NJ stop (2.5 – 3 hours)

• If you are traveling from a country that requires you to have a visa to enter the United States, apply for your visa with ample time for it to be processed prior to your departure date.
• Conference attire: Business casual
• Time zone: Eastern Time (UTC – 5:00)
• Average temperature in New Jersey in December: 37°F (48°F high / 29°F low)

• The 2024 Awards Ceremony will take place from 5pm – 9:30pm on Sunday, 8 December 2024 at The Imperia (1714 Easton Ave, Somerset, New Jersey, USA 08873)
• The Imperia is a 10 minute drive from the Bridgewater Marriott
• Complimentary (optional) transportation WILL be provided between the Bridgewater Marriott and The Imperia
  • The shuttle will depart the Bridgewater Marriott promptly at 4:30pm (please meet in the Lobby no later than 4:20pm) to take you directly to The Imperia
  • The shuttle will depart The Imperia promptly at 10:00pm to take you back to the Bridgewater Marriott
• If you do not wish to use IEEE SA’s shuttle (or when the shuttle reaches it maximum capacity of 56 people), Uber and Lyft are both widely available to take you between both locations

Open invitation: The 2024 IEEE SA Standards Fellowship Program participants will attend the IEEE SA Awards Ceremony on Sunday, 08 December 2024 and look forward to meeting the IEEE SA Community. They will present themselves and their organizations on Monday, 09 December 2024 from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM. Everyone is invited to attend. There will also be an occasion to meet during the morning break on Monday, 09 December 2024.
