The Standards Forum and Reception are open to IEEE Members, Staff, and Travel Companions. The Forum provides an environment where subjects of interest to the IEEE-SA standards community can be discussed in an informal setting. The Forum topic is titled “International Cyber Security Policy: Towards Agreements for International Conflict Resolution in Cyberspace.” The Forum will be held on Tuesday, 19 August, 5:00pm-7:00pm at the China World Hotel. A Social Reception will be held afterwards.
The SASB Dinner is offered to SASB board/committee members and IEEE Staff.
The Standards Board meetings (two sessions) are scheduled from 1:30pm-6:00pm, Wednesday, 20 August, and 9:30am-5:30pm, Thursday, 21 August. Every attempt will be made to keep to this timeframe. Please try to arrange your schedule so that you can be present for the entire meeting as the entire Board is responsible for all decisions that are made during the meeting.
