Practice Volunteer Transformational Market Impact Award
This award may be presented annually to a maximum of two (2) individuals to recognize major contributions to the outreach, development, and overall support towards achieving the vision and impact within an IEEE SA Practice. Major contributions include but are not limited to the following examples:
- Leadership in driving the development of new IEEE families of standards to address market challenges
- Significant leadership and support of Practice activities and mission
- Enhancing the visibility of an IEEE SA Practice and the IEEE SA
- Promoting the understanding and need of an IEEE SA Practice as a means of engaging new communities
Award
This recognition consists of an engraved plaque. There is no honorarium attached to this award.

The award is presented at the IEEE SA Awards Ceremony
- Recipient honored at the annual IEEE SA Awards Ceremony
- Recognition on IEEE SA website and social media
Eligibility
Nominees need not be current members of IEEE or IEEE SA. There are no restrictions or preferences as to the nationality, race, sex, creed, or age. The nominee must be engaged in one of the IEEE SA Practice areas.

Please note that the nomination package, including at least 3 endorsements must be completed and submitted by 31 July. Nominations packages that are incomplete as of 31 July will not be considered by the IEEE SA Awards and Recognition Committee.
