Forum: Wednesday, 17 May 2017
Topic:  The Implications of Technology Ethics

The question of ethics in relation to technology continues to grow as technological tools and services permeate further into people’s everyday lives. This forum, a follow-up to IEEE-SA Board of Governors activities in India earlier this year, will examine the connections between technology, policy, and ethics. It will address the new ethical activities under way in the IEEE Standards Association and IEEE with a particular focus on the perspectives and needs of start-up companies and entrepreneurs.

A social reception will be held afterwards.
