BOG Forum
The Forum provides an environment where subjects of interest to the BOG can be discussed outside of the formal meeting setting.

The Forum will be held on Wednesday, 3 February 2016, 6:00pm – 7:30pm at the InterContinental Vienna, Salon Schubert Room. Topic is “Role of Technology Standards in Trade Policy” facilitated by Ms. Karen McCabe, IEEE-SA Senior Director, Technology Policy and International Affairs. A social reception will be held afterwards.

Board of Governors
Board members are asked to arrange their schedules to be present at least for the entire two-day meeting, as the entire body is responsible for all decisions that are made during the meeting. The agenda will be available at a later date.

Transportation
The InterContinental Vienna Hotel is approximately 30 minutes from Vienna International Airport.
Taxi fare is approximately EUR 40.
Check with your taxi driver regarding cash/credit.
A private chauffeur from airport to the InterContinental is approximately EUR 58 and may be coordinated directly with the hotel.

City Airport Train can reach the station “Wien Mitte Landstrasse”; from there it’s approximately 10 minutes walking distance to the hotel.
