FIPS 151-2 adopts ISO/IEC 9945-1: 2003 (IEEE Std. 1003.1: 2001) Information Technology-Portable Operating System Interface (POSIX)-Part 1: System Application: Program Interface (API) [C Language].
- IEEE POSIX® Accredited Testing Laboratories Users and suppliers interested in support of validating products should work with an Accredited POSIX Testing Laboratory (APTL).
- The Official NIST-PCTS: 151-2 Test Suite (based on on the test methods of IEEE Std. 2003.1-1992) is available free of charge from the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
