Registration Authority

IEEE offers Registration Authority programs or registries which maintain lists of unique identifiers under standards and issue unique identifiers to those wishing to register them. The IEEE Registration Authority assigns unambiguous names to objects in a way which makes the assignment available to interested parties.

IEEE TEMPLATE/TDL ITEM WIRE TRANSFER INFORMATION AND INSTRUCTIONS

Publication requires a review of the proposed IEEE template or TDL item, requiring 30 working days.

  • The application for a proposed template or TDL item will be processed upon receipt of payment as long as there are no issues with it.
  • Be sure to notify the IEEE-SA by fax on the day the transfer takes place. Include the name and location of your local bank branch and the tracking number.
  • Your bank will remit your to fee to a “correspondent” bank that will charge a $20 (US) processing fee to handle the transaction. Be sure your remittance to the IEEE-SA includes this fee in addition to the fee charged by IEEE for template publication.

Wire Transfer Instructions

  • Add $20 (US) to the IEEE Template/TDL Item charge of $570 (US) to cover the “correspondent” bank's service charge.

Please notify the IEEE-RA by email or fax (+1-732-562-1571) on the day the money is wired to Wachovia Bank. Reference the tracking number on all correspondence.
