IEEE SA - P400.4 - Guide for Field-Testing of Shielded Power Cable Systems Rated 5kV and Above with Damped Alternating Current Voltage (DAC)

This guide presents the practices and procedures for testing and diagnosis of shielded power cable systems rated 5kV and above using damped alternating current voltages (DAC) . It applies to all types of power cable systems that are intended for the transmission or distribution of electric power. The tabulated test levels assume that the cable systems have an effectively grounded neutral system or a grounded metallic shield.
