This standard is intended to define the requirements for current transformers with a maximum secondary output current of 250 milliamperes. These requirements of ratios, accuracy classes, burdens and test methods supplement, but are subordinate to, IEEE C57.13-2008, Standard Requirements for Instrument Transformers.
