P3005.3 - Recommended Practice for the Application of Stored-Energy Systems for use in Emergency and Stand-By Power Systems
This recommended practice covers the selection and application of stored-energy systems for industrial and commercial power systems. It describes how to best determine the needs for an emergency or standby power system. This is followed by a discussion of two major types stored energy systems, stationary batteries and mechanical (flywheel).
