P1705 - Standard for Compliance Testing to Utility Industry Metering Communications Protocol Standards
This standard provides the requirements for testing compliance to the following Utility Industry Metering Communications protocols: 1. Utility Industry Metering Communication Protocol Application Layer (End Device Data Tables) (Congruent standards, IEEE P1377, ANSI C12.19 and MC12.19) 2. Protocol Specification for ANSI Type 2 Optical Port (Congruent standards, IEEE 1701, MC12.18 and ANSI C12.18) to complement Utility Industry Metering Communication Protocol Application Layer (End Device Data Tables) 3. Protocol Specification for Telephone Modem Communication (Congruent standards, IEEE 1702, MC12.21 and ANSI C12.21) to complement Utility Industry Metering Communication Protocol Application Layer (End Device Data Tables) 4. Local Area Network/Wide Area Network (LAN/WAN) Node Communication Protocol to complement the Utility Industry End Device Data Tables (Proposed congruent standards, IEEE P1703, MC12.22 and ANSI C12.22).
