Digital systems increasingly determine access, opportunity, and autonomy at scale. These outcomes are shaped not by occasional decisions, but by defaults - the built-in behaviors that operate automatically, invisibly, and continuously. When dignity, inclusion, identity, trust, and agency are treated as optional or advisory, they do not survive scale. “DIITA by Default” asserts a clear position: safeguarding human values must be a baseline condition of digital systems, not an afterthought.
6 May 2026
The session will examine how resilient infrastructure can be strengthened through shared approaches for safety, performance, and cybersecurity-by-design. This focus directly advances the Sustainable Development Goal 9 (SDG9)’s call for infrastructure that is both robust and future-ready, capable of resisting climate pressures, evolving cyber threats, and rapidly shifting demand profiles. It will highlight how collaborative approaches can help align deployments with public-interest outcomes, including reliable services, inclusive access, sustainability, and how standards-informed approaches can improve planning, investments and procurement decisions so infrastructure remains scalable, maintainable and future proof.
5 May 2026
Reliable digital infrastructure is essential to achieving the 2030 Agenda, yet many communities remain underserved due to cost, limited capacity, and a lack of locally relevant services. This session will highlight practical, scalable pathways that combine community-led infrastructure, local-language AI, and standards-based innovation to advance the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) implementation.
16 February 2026
Join us at the 2026 India Impact Summit for a session exploring how age-appropriate design can address emerging risks from generative AI and algorithmic content systems affecting young users. It will examine policy and technical challenges around information integrity, manipulative design, and hyper-personalised content, and will consider practical approaches to protect and empower children online.
24 September 2024
This workshop will bring together professionals from technology developers in software, firmware, and devices; automotive manufacturing, regulatory, researchers, and other related stakeholders to understand the needs for TIPPSS for IoTs in connected vehicles and the related use case requirements.
16 July 2024
This workshop will bring together professionals from technology development and manufacturing, farm and agribusiness operations, regulatory and government, and other related stakeholders to understand the needs for TIPPSS for sensors and IoTs used in monitoring and managing the food supply chain and collaborate to develop the use case requirements.
