IEEE/IEC C37.111-2013

IEEE/IEC International Standard - Measuring relays and protection equipment - Part 24: Common format for transient data exchange (COMTRADE) for power systems

Also known as IEC 60255-24 Ed.2, this standard defines a format for files containing transient waveform and event data collected from power systems or power system models. The format is intended to provide an easily interpretable form for use in exchanging data. The standard is for files stored on currently used physical media such as portable external hard drives, USB drives, flash drives, CD, DVD. It is not a standard for transferring data files over communication networks.

Other Activities From This Working Group

Current projects that have been authorized by the IEEE SA Standards Board to develop a standard.

No Active Projects

Standards approved by the IEEE SA Standards Board that are within the 10-year lifecycle.

62843-2013
Standard for N times 64 kilobit per second optical fiber interfaces between teleprotection and multiplexer equipment

An optical interface for use between teleprotection and digital multiplexer equipment that can operate at a data rate of N times 64 kilobit per second where N = 1, 2u202612 is described. Requirements for both physical connection and the communications timing are also included.

C93.3-1995
American National Standard--Requirements for Power-Line Carrier Line Traps

This standard applies to a line trap inserted into a power circuit to minimize carrier-frequency signal losses. The standard covers line traps in which the main coil is designed as a single phase, air-cooled inductor of the dry type.

These standards have been replaced with a revised version of the standard, or by a compilation of the original active standard and all its existing amendments, corrigenda, and errata.

C37.90.1-2002
IEEE Standard Surge Withstand Capability (SWC) Tests for Relays and Relay Systems Associated with Electric Power Apparatus

Two types of design tests for relays and relay systems that relate to the immunity of this equipment to repetitive electrical transients are specified. Test generator characteristics, test wave-forms, selection of equipment terminals on which tests are to be conducted, test procedures, criteria for acceptance, and documentation of test results are described. This standard has been harmonized with IEC standards where consensus could be reached.

These standards have been removed from active status through a ballot where the standard is made inactive as a consensus decision of a balloting group.

No Inactive-Withdrawn Standards

These standards are removed from active status through an administrative process for standards that have not undergone a revision process within 10 years.
