For a decade, the IEEE Global Initiative on Ethics of Autonomous and Intelligent Systems has brought together over 700 experts around the world to help ensure AI serves humanity through practical standards, certification, global collaboration, and real-world implementation.
Built on the foundation of human and planetary rights, well-being, and data agency, shaped by 700+ contributors across five continents, Ethically Aligned Design: A Vision for Prioritizing Human Well-being with Autonomous and Intelligent Systems (EAD) compendium, provides hundreds of recommendations and background resources to provide specific directionality when a corporate, policy, customer or citizen stakeholder asks, “How can we ensure AI systems are designed and implemented responsibly?”
A decade that includes diligence, consensus and certification.
