NEW STANDARDS COMMITTEE (NESCOM)
The New Standards Committee is comprised of at least 10 but not more than 15 IEEE members responsible for ensuring that proposed standards projects are within the scope and purpose of the IEEE, that standards projects are assigned to the proper Society or other organizational body, and that interested parties are appropriately represented in the development of IEEE standards. The committee shall examine Project Authorization Requests (PARs) and make recommendations to the IEEESA Standards Board regarding their approval. PAR TRAINING MATERIALS
