NESC® Change Proposal Comment Submission

Comment Submission Instructions

Please follow the steps below to successfully submit your comment using the designated process.

  • Step 1: Usage of the Comment Proposal Submission Template is required. Download the Comment Proposal Submission Template (DOTX) to prepare your submission. Complete your changes using the instructions found herein and on the template. Save your file to your hard drive.
  • Step 2: Return to this page and enter your email address in the Submit Your Comments section. You will be prompted to create an account if your email address does not exist in the system.
  • Step 3: Enter the change proposal number you wish to submit a comment for.
  • Step 4: You will now be allowed to enter your comment into the system. The following information is required:
    • Organization Represented: e.g., IEEE, Edison Electric Institute, NESC Subcommittee 3 Working Group 3.1, etc.
      • Note that this can be an organization, an individual/self, an NESC Subcommittee/Working Group, etc.
    • Page number on the preprint where the change proposal appears.
    • Uploading of the comment file prepared in step 1.
    • Indication whether the content is original material.
  • Step 5: Once all previous fields are filled out, please submit the information provided. You will then be allowed to submit another comment.
