Computing and Network Convergence Initiative

About the Activity

Computing and Network Convergence unify the arrangement and control of multiple resources such as data, computing, computing power convergence, data convergence, operation and maintenance convergence, intelligence convergence, and service convergence. Computing and Network Convergence will break the “island” state of data centers, supercomputing centers, cloud computing, and edge computing so that the computing power breaks through the single-point performance limit, provides basic social services like water and electricity, and provides a more economical and efficient computing power supply solution for the digital transformation business. However, the field of computing network convergence involves the Internet, communications, computing, and other areas of intersection, showing a large industrial scale, complex and intertwined industrial chain, and other characteristics, there is an urgent need to integrate all industrial forces to jointly promote the research on computing network convergence technology and industrial development.

Goals of the Activity

The motivation of this initiative is to promote cooperation in the field of Computing and Network Convergence, accelerate the exploration of innovative applications of Computing and Network Convergence, and promote the rapid development of related technologies and industries.
