Certain electrical, dimensional, and mechanical characteristics are covered in this standard. It also takes into consideration certain safety features of three-phase, 60 Hz, liquid-immersed, self-cooled, submersible transformers with separable insulated high-voltage connectors. These transformers are rated 3750 kVA and smaller with high voltages of 34 500 GrdY/19 920 V and below and with low voltages of 600 V and below.

C57.12.24-2023
IEEE Standard for Submersible, Three-Phase Transformers, 3750 kVA and Smaller: High Voltage, 34 500 GrdY/19 920 V and Below; Low Voltage, 600 V and Below
Certain electrical, dimensional, and mechanical characteristics are covered in this standard. Certain safety features of three-phase, 60-Hz, liquid-immersed, self-cooled, submersible transformers with separable insulated high-voltage connectors are also taken into consideration These transformers are rated 3750 kVA and smaller with high voltages of 34 500 GrdY/19 920 V and below and with low voltages of 600 V and below.
These standards have been replaced with a revised version of the standard, or by a compilation of the original active standard and all its existing amendments, corrigenda, and errata.
C57.12.24-2009
IEEE Standard for Submersible, Three-Phase Transformers, 3750 kVA and Smaller: High Voltage, 34 500 GrdY/19 920 Volts and Below; Low Voltage, 600 Volts and Below
This standard is intended for use as a basis for establishing the performance, electrical and mechanical interchangeability, and safety of the equipment covered, and to assist in the proper selection of such equipment.
These standards have been removed from active status through a ballot where the standard is made inactive as a consensus decision of a balloting group.
C57.12.24-2000
American National Standard for Transformers-- Underground-Type Three-Phase Distribution Transformers 2500 kVA and Smaller; High Voltage: 34,500 GrdY/29 920 Volts and Below; Low Voltage: 480 Volts and Below--Requirements
This standard describes certain electrical and mechanical characteristics and takes into consideration certain safety features of three phase, 60-Hz, liquid-immersed, self-cooled, underground type distribution transformers rated 2500 kVA and smaller with high voltages of 34 500GrdY/19 920 volts and below and with low voltages of 480 volts and below. These transformers are generally used for step down purposes from an underground primary cable supply and are suitable for occasional submerged operation.
These standards are removed from active status through an administrative process for standards that have not undergone a revision process within 10 years.
