Standard for Electromagnetic Compatibility Requirements for Space Equipment and Systems

This standard applies to the procurement of space systems, including spacecraft, space vehicles, launch vehicles, ground systems, and associated equipment and subsystems. It establishes performance and verification requirements for achieving and verifying the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) of space systems, including consideration of all electromagnetic environmental effects. The standard identifies engineering issues relevant to system-level EMC and provides guidance and rationale for demonstrating compliance with its requirements.
