This standard defines key concepts, metrics, and technical requirements for data observability and service level agreements (SLAs) in Data as a Service (DaaS) environments. It establishes a common set of data‑centric service quality indicators and monitoring requirements, including data freshness, completeness, accuracy, consistency, schema stability, anomaly and drift detection, latency, throughput, and availability. The standard applies to cloud‑based and on‑premises DaaS platforms, Application Programming Interface (API) ‑exposed data products, data‑sharing platforms, and enterprise data services supporting analytics, Artificial Intelligence (AI) /Machine Learning (ML), and real‑time operational applications.
