Guide for Design and Usability of Multimodal Immersive Interfaces in Virtual Reality Environments

This guide helps to design multimodal immersive interfaces, particularly focusing on Virtual Reality (VR) environments. In addition, the guide establishes a Usability Assessment Framework (UAF) for multimodal immersive interfaces in VR environments which further addresses the following key aspects: understanding multimodality, balancing immersion and cognitive load, and comprehensive assessment of usability methods.
