This standard specifies the control, interaction, and safety framework for discrete logistics equipment. It provides a reference for the topology of next-generation logistics systems, and includes the advanced motion control functional interface. The standard helps unifying the control methods for field devices with different interfaces by a dedicated communication protocol. The data or commands exchanged over the application layer are processed according to the safety rules between logistics equipment.
