IEEE Draft Guide for Terms and Test Methods of Fiber-reinforced Composite Electric Power Equipment

This guide provides technical guidance on the comprehensive inspection of the performance and quality of fiber-reinforced composite electric power equipment for manufacturers, testing institutions, and power facility operation and maintenance enterprises. It introduces relevant terms and definitions, relevant test equipment and facilities, and test methods, particularly emphasizing the use of mechatronic testing methods based on electronic control technology. It is applicable to electric power equipment such as operating rods, frames, tools, and wires made of fiber-reinforced composite materials.
