Standard for Smart Identification in Internet of Things

This standard provides technical details related to the smart identification of things. The standard applies to Internet of Things (IoT) used in a business environment. The standard addresses harmonized identifiers for things, different storage for identifiers (ID), and the transport of related data via various communication and data capture techniques, such as Bluetooth, Narrow Band Internet of Things (NB-IoT), Long Range Radio (LoRa), Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), two-dimensional code (2D code) etc. The standard provides an application framework to facilitate data transparency and application interoperability between business participants in IoT environments, leveraging existing protocol standards where appropriate.
