This document specifies the minimally-acceptable performance requirements and associated test procedures for on-site oral fluid drug screening devices used by law enforcement agencies. The scope of this document is limited to on-site oral fluid drug screening devices used by law enforcement agencies to detect the presence of substances, such as amphetamines, benzodiazepines, cannabis, cocaine, methamphetamine, and opiates, in a driver's system that may result in impaired driving. This document does not apply to evidential breath testing used to conduct alcohol confirmation tests.
