Guide for Blue-green Laser Communication System for Industrial Underwater Operations - Generic Specification

This document specifies general requirements for design, installation and maintenance of blue-green laser communication systems, covering composition, configurations, working conditions, typical performances, test methods, and inspection rules. This document specifies requirements for blue-green laser communication systems, which are used for industrial underwater operations. This document also specifies procedures of how requirements for the systems are to be standardized. This standard provides specific requirements and guidance in the testing and inspection of blue-green laser communication systems covered within its scope. Blue-green laser communication system hardware components, system and networking performance characteristics, design parameters and implementation considerations are also described. This document does not provide detailed technical specifications for the construction of blue-green laser communication systems for industrial underwater operations but specifies requirements in general that are necessary for blue-green laser communication systems.

No Active Standards

These standards have been replaced with a revised version of the standard, or by a compilation of the original active standard and all its existing amendments, corrigenda, and errata.

No Superseded Standards

These standards have been removed from active status through a ballot where the standard is made inactive as a consensus decision of a balloting group.

No Inactive-Withdrawn Standards

These standards are removed from active status through an administrative process for standards that have not undergone a revision process within 10 years.
