The IEEE SA Corporate Alliance program offers organizations such as corporations, universities, and governments, the ability to play a pivotal role in IEEE SA activities to engage and influence technology standards development. It is a community of organizations with common interests in the activities and development of global standards and consensus-based outputs. The Corporate Alliance program also unites its members in a powerful voice that is heard by the IEEE Standards Association and the greater IEEE.

CAG Advisory Council Meetings

The CAG Advisory Council Meeting is an opportunity for Corporate Alliance members to directly interact with the IEEE SA CAG and provide input and direction on activities of IEEE SA relevant to the Corporate Alliance member’s interests. Topics can include:

The CAG Advisory Council meeting concludes with a networking reception and awards ceremony for Executive and Elite levels of Corporate Alliance members. Corporate Alliance members will be recognized for their contributions to IEEE standards efforts.

President's Advisory Council Meetings

The President’s Advisory Council is a meeting for executives of Corporate Alliance members to interact with IEEE SA and IEEE volunteer and staff leadership. It is hosted by the IEEE SA President and the IEEE SA Managing Director. In addition, executives from other SDOs or industry alliances may be invited to join based on the interests of the Corporate Alliance members. A formal networking reception follows the meeting and concludes with a keynote speaker on a significant topic related to standards and industry, Examples include:

  • Children’s Rights and Privacy in Software Products
  • Corporate Environmental Liability Accounting
  • National Body and SDO activities
