Overview
The IEEE SA Mobility Practice provides a focal point for information and assistance across the wide range of IEEE standards and related initiatives associated with mobility and the digital transformation of transportation. The practice takes into account major trends and facilitates a broad, open, cross-industry dialogue needed to exchange views, to debate, and to agree upon common challenges and collaborative activities needed, including autonomous vehicles, sustainable transportation, and mobility services.

Ethernet & IP @ Automotive Technology Day
E&IP@ATD is the premier venue for automobile manufacturers, suppliers, semiconductor vendors, tool providers, engineers, scientists, educators, and the media to share groundbreaking ideas along with implementation strategies and applications related to automotive Ethernet systems.
Cyber-secured Autonomous Vehicles Webinar
Autonomous vehicles are not trustworthy without being secured. They continuously sense the environment, communicate with each other and the infrastructure, and compute massive amounts of data. The Cyber-Secured Autonomous Vehicles Webinar will address many of these challenges. It will highlight different views, initiatives and priorities from Asia, Europe, and America. Presentations and a Q&A panel discussion will identify common approaches and aligned solutions.
These workshops are organized by IEEE Industry Connections groups open for participation to jointly develop agendas for future workshops and webinars. Your contribution is missing! To submit a proposal, send an email to [email protected].

Smart, Safe & Trust-worthy Transportation
Future vehicles will be more and more connected, automated, and smart due to computerization and software embedded intelligence.
Sustainable Transportation
The green transformation of transportation calls for de-carbonization of the mobility sector. The ultimate goal is to end up with climate neutral transportation and closed loop material flows.
MaaS and Smart City Traffic Solutions
There is a shift from individually owned vehicles toward interconnected shared mobility solutions, used as an if-and-when needed service [Mobility as a Service (MaaS)]. User-centric multi-modal MaaS offers seamlessly integrated private, shared, and public means of transportation.
