 There is a typo here: "token" should be "%token" at start of line.
 (This typo is not present in the online Single Unix Specification version
 2 or in ISO/IEC 9945-2:1993.)

 Change "token" to "%token".

Interpretation response

The standards states "token", and conforming implementations must
conform to this. However, concerns have been raised about this
