IEEE 475-1983

IEEE Standard Measurement Procedure for Field-Disturbance Sensors (rf Intrusion Alarms)

This standard defines test procedure for field-disturbance sensors to measure radio-frequency (rf), radiated field strength of the fundamental frequency, including second and third harmonics, and of any non harmonic spurious emission within the frequency range from 0.3 GHz to 40.0 GHz. In addition, powerline measurement of electromagnetic emission within the frequency range from 30 MHz to 300 MHz is specified. Perimeter protection systems that employ a balanced transmission line around the property being protected are not covered by this standard.

No Active Standards

These standards have been replaced with a revised version of the standard, or by a compilation of the original active standard and all its existing amendments, corrigenda, and errata.

No Superseded Standards

These standards have been removed from active status through a ballot where the standard is made inactive as a consensus decision of a balloting group.

No Inactive-Withdrawn Standards

These standards are removed from active status through an administrative process for standards that have not undergone a revision process within 10 years.
