This standard establishes definitions for systems that integrate a sensing or object detection capability with a communication function. The platforms of interest include synthetic aperture radar (SAR) as well as devices connected to cellular and other wireless networks. This standard includes: • A list of terms relevant to Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC), • A definition for each term, • A list of deprecated terms that should not be used for ISAC.
