This standard defines a framework for IoT Security Assessment. The framework covers end devices and up to the edge of the IoT applications with consideration for end-to-end IoT applications deployment. The framework includes a grading mechanism to help users assess how secure an IoT application is and what would be the typical considerations in operating such IoT applications. This standard does not cover systems beyond the edge, cloud storage, and cloud applications that can be assessed and secured using the existing industry-standard mechanisms.
