A new generation of technologists, engineers and entrepreneurs will take center stage at this year’s South by Southwest® (SXSW®) Interactive Festival in Austin, Texas, March 8-17. IEEE SA will be working in conjunction with the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) to present the “Open Future Series,” which will feature World Wide Web inventor and W3C Director, Tim Berners-Lee.
The IEEE SA and W3C Open Future Series will feature myriad panel sessions that aim to expand the conversation concerning emerging and evolving technologies. Among the technology advancements, panelists will discuss the Internet of Things (IoT), cloud computing, Augmented Reality (AR), social robotics, mobile development, and self-hacking. The lineup of panels and sessions will also address critical issues impacting OpenStand principles and the Open Web platform.
