At the 2013 SXSW Interactive Festival, IEEE presented the “Digital Telepathy: When Every Thing Connects” panel where industry experts discussed the “Internet of Things” (IoT) – a future where people and objects communicate in unprecedented ways.
This panel explored the dynamics of interconnection and convergence and address the need for a more interdisciplinary approach to design, engineering, development, communication and privacy.
