Test Suite Specification (TSS): Electric Vehicles – IEEE DC Quick Charger for Use with Electric Vehicles
Developed by the IEEE EV Charging Conformity Assessment Committee, the Test Suite Specification is available for purchase. The scope of this TSS is limited to the testing of DC quick charger conformance and performance. As of this revision of the TSS, the standard for DC quick charger performance is IEEE 2030.1.1™-2015, IEEE Standard Technical Specification of a DC Quick Charger for use with Electric Vehicles.1 This TSS will be revised as the standard for DC quick charger conformance and performance is revised. Users are encouraged to check for the latest revision of this document. Electric vehicle charger testing organizations participating in the IEEE Electric Vehicle Charger Certification Program must comply with the test plans and requirements in this document.
IEEE 2030.1.1™-2015 IEEE Standard Technical Specifications of a DC Quick Charger for Use with Electric Vehicles
The IEEE 2030.1.1 standard specifies the design interface of electric vehicles and direct current (DC) quick chargers that promote interoperability and rapid charging of electric vehicles. This standard was revised to cover additional functionality which includes additional design requirements to cover the latest technological advancements in the field of bi-directional charging (V2X), ultra-rapid charging up to 400 kW, and Smart (dynamic control) charging.
