What is the IEEE CertifAIEd™ Assessment Licensing & Product Registry Program
AI products, systems, and services are being developed at an unprecedented and exponential rate. The need for AI Ethical Assessments has never been greater as global frameworks and regulations are being developed.
Based on both the IEEE CertifAIEd™ Professional Certification Program and the Practical Assessment Master Class, this program allows individuals to perform assessments and submit them under the umbrella of the IEEE CertifAIEd Assessment Licensing & Registry Program.
These assessments serve as a bridge between an unaudited product and an IEEE CertifAIEd™ Certification product. Utilizing the IEEE CertifAIEd™ methodology, including ontological specifications and criteria suites, individual assessors can use the tools and skillsets accumulated to provide a basic review of an AIS.
Please note these assessments do not meet the requirements of an IEEE CertifAIEd™ Certification product but provide a method of proving they have been assessed with the tools provided within the IEEE CertifAIEd™ ecosystem.
The Path to Obtaining an IEEE CertifAIEd™ Assessment License and Assessed Product
Step 1
Take and successfully pass the IEEE CertifAIEd™ Professional Certification
Course.
Step 2
Take and successfully pass the IEEE CertifAIEd™ Master Level Assessor Course.
Step 3
Fill out the IEEE CertifAIEd™ Assessment Licensing & Product Registry Program application.
Step 4
Receive the IEEE CertifAIEd™ Assessment Licensing Program package including: the use of the “assessed with IEEE CertifAIEd™” logo.
Step 5
Perform an assessment.
Step 6
Submit the assessment for addition to the CertifAIEd Assessment Product Registry on behalf of the company the assessment was conducted for.

Participants seeking the IEEE CertifAIEd™ Assessment Licensing Program and Product Registry are required to pay the licensing fee annually.
