IEEE 945 TM -2019, Recommended Practice for Preferred Metric Units for Use in Electrical and Electronics Science and Technology

This recommended practice provides the preferred metric units for use in Electrical and Electronics Science and Technology and supports the application of IEEE/ASTM SI 10. The purpose of this recommended practice is to aid in the selection of appropriate metric units for quantities that are of interest to electrical and electronic engineers.



IEEE 802.15.4x TM -2019,  Standard for Low-Rate Wireless Networks - Amendment 7: Defining Enhancements to the Smart Utility Network (SUN) Physical Layers (PHYs) Supporting up to 2.4 Mb/s Data Rates.

This standard defines the physical layer (PHY) and medium access control (MAC) sublayer specifications for low-data-rate wireless connectivity with fixed, portable, and moving devices with no battery or very limited battery consumption requirements.  




IEEE 802.15.7 TM -2018, Standard for Local and metropolitan area networks--Part 15.7: Short-Range Optical Wireless Communications

This standard defines a physical layer (PHY) and medium access control (MAC) sublayer for short-range optical wireless communications (OWC) in optically transparent media using light wavelengths from 10 000 nm to 190 nm.




IEEE 3002.7 TM -2018, Recommended Practice for Conducting Motor-Starting Studies and Analysis of Industrial and Commercial Power Systems

This recommended practice describes how to conduct motor-starting studies and analysis of industrial and commercial power systems. It is likely to be of greatest value to the power-oriented engineer with limited experience in this area.




IEEE 1159.3 TM -2019, Recommended Practice for Power Quality Data Interchange Format (PQDIF)

This recommended practice specifies the PQDIF file format for the transfer of power quality data between instruments and computers. This includes raw, processed, simulated, proposed, specified, and calculated data.
