Moving from the hype to making it real

The EmTech AG Forum is an open collaboration forum focused on development of solutions to overcome barriers to the adoption of viable applications of artificial intelligence (AI), Blockchain and IoTs for securing and optimizing the food value chain: from the source to the table. The open space collaboration forum empowers all participants to share, learn and collaborate to identify where solutions are needed.  If you are interested in submitting a speaker presentation submission, please fill out the registration form.

Why IEEE SA is hosting this workshop?

In November 2018, the IEEE SA in collaboration with the IEEE Blockchain Initiative was the first to host the industry’s exclusive Blockchain for Agriculture Forum. The two-day educational and open collaboration Forum delivered the following outcomes:

  1. Kick-off of the P2418.3 DLT for Agriculture Standards Working Group
  2. Local for local Pilot Program – Onboarding farmers to Blockchain for New Financial Opportunities (in Hawaii)
  3. The Creation of the Blockchain for Food Traceability Conformity Assessment Program (Now accepting participants for the Open Crowd-Source Contribution to the Roadmap White Paper!)
