Would you like to participate in peer reviewing new Standards Information Network products?
Peer review is required for endorsement or publication of all Standards Information Network products. Unlike the balloting process required for IEEE standards, there is no balance requirement or mandatory response to comments received during the peer review process. However, authors are required to consider the comments submitted by reviewers and implement changes if the concerns are valid.
We are presently looking to increase our peer reviewer pool. Responsibilities of peer reviewers are as follows:
• Submission of name, organization, technical background (biography), and areas of expertise;
• Agreement to review the complete manuscript or product and provide technical and editorial feedback within 30 to 45 days; and
• Agreement to re-review the completed revised manuscript or product after peer review comments have been incorporated if necessary.
While we cannot offer financial compensation for peer reviewing our products, we will send a complimentary copy of the finished product which includes your name in the front matter of the publication.
