--------------------------------------------------------------------
Introducing "myBallot" -- The Better Way to Ballot! --
Get ready for a new and improved balloting system in 2005! Called "myBallot," you will, for the first time, be able to customize your balloting experience all with a few clicks of the mouse! This means that:

If you are a Balloter:
. . .and you want to join open balloting groups, you can easily do so at your convenience by logging on to the myBallot website; and,
. . .if you are in a balloting group and wish to submit your vote and/or submit comments while the ballot is still open, you can do so as often as you like up to the closing date; and,
. . If, during a ballot recirculation, you want to review responses from the ballot sponsor to your comments, you can view those responses online.

If you are a Sponsor:
. . .you can start your own invitation and ballot at your convenience, including choosing your own opening and closing dates; and,
. . You will be able to see how many invitations are being sent, and to whom; and,
. . You can delegate balloting work to a Ballot Designee who can do everything from start the invitation to extending the ballot; and,
. . You can extend the ballot if the response rate has not been met or can choose to fail the ballot and start anew; and,
. . You can gather RevCom documents pertaining to balloting directly from the system.

And there's more!
. . .Help pages will be available to assist you through every aspect of balloting.
. . .Links to Standards Development Online will be found right inside the myBallot system.
. . .Links to e-mail IEEE-SA Staff will just be a click away.
