IEEE-SA Standards Medallion


The Standards Medallion is awarded for major contributions to the development of standards. Examples of such contributions may include leadership in standardization of new technologies, assuring achievement of standards development goals, identifying opportunities to better serve the needs of standards users or other such contributions viewed as deserving of this award.

Recipients need not be members of the IEEE, and their contributions may be to standards of other national and international standardization bodies, providing such standards are in the fields of the IEEE and constitute a significant contribution to the profession.

4. Nominee's Standards-Making Affiliations

List organizations and committee membership. Provide nominee's organizational or committee position(s)

5. State briefly why this individual should be so honored and clearly identify those contributions that qualify the nominee for consideration

6. A minimum of three endorsements are required; a maximum of five are permitted
