IEEE-SA
Corporate Membership Online Application Apply and pay for corporate
membership online. Checks, VISA, Mastercard, and American Express are accepted.
Please Note - Wire transfers/EFTs are not accepted at this time.
Complimentary
Individual Memberships You get a number of free individual SA-only
memberships for your employed staff that are not existing IEEE or SA members.
These memberships grant the same privileges as SA individual members, and they
stay with your company, so if an employee you select to be a complimentary individual
member leaves your company, his/her membership does not travel with them. You
can select another employee to fill the position — maintaining continuity and
stability for your standards activities.
Unlimited
Balloting Ballot or vote on an unlimited number of “entity only”
and "mixed" IEEE-SA standards projects. Without membership,
an entity must pay a per-ballot fee to vote in the final standards passage ballot. The
per-ballot fee for entity ballots is 20% above what the membership fee would be
for that corporation or organization: If your organization's membership fees
would be $1000 US, then the per-ballot fee will be $1200 US
If your organization's membership fees would be $3000 US, then the per-ballot
fee will be $3600 US If your organization's membership fees would be
$5000 US, then the per-ballot fee will be $6000 US This structure
was approved by the IEEE-SA BOG in July 2003. For information about per-ballot
fees, contact the IEEE-SA Balloting Center myballot@ieee.org

The
Corporate Advisory Group (CAG) Your company can interface with
the IEEE-SA Corporate Advisory Group, an arm of the IEEE-SA Board of Governors.
Comprised of corporate member representatives, this group provides a forum where
you will interact with other members for their feedback and guidance, and advance
new proposals for standards work. The CAG provides strong focal point connection
for your industry standards concerns and activities. In
addition to the IEEE Societies who serve as the traditional sponsors of standards,
the CAG also sponsors standards projects, offering an alternate route into the
IEEE-SA, especially for new and emerging technologies that may not fall within
the traditional scope of the IEEE’s 37 technical societies.
IEEE-SA
Governance Decide the governance of the IEEE-SA at the Board of
Governors members-at-large level. Voting privileges give you the opportunity to
guide the IEEE-SA in its strategic direction. Both corporate and individual members
of the IEEE-SA can vote for the governance of the IEEE Standards Association.
IEEE-SA members must also be voting members of the IEEE to elect the IEEE-SA President
and President-Elect.
