ABSTRACT

Description

The abstract of a standard.

The abstract usually includes only one paragraph.

It may include several paragraphs though if the standard gathers several supplements (see 802.6c-1993 and 802.6h-1993). In that case the gtext attribute must be set to None (case-sensitive) and the text "Abstract for xxx-19xx" must be entered, in bold, at the beginning of each abstract.
