China Communications Standards Association (CCSA)
CCSA is a nationally unified communications standards organization, established based on former standard study groups in China, that can adapt the growing market, keep pace with global industry and accord with Chinese situations.

Council for Harmonization of Electrotechnical Standards of the Nations of the Americas (CANENA)
CANENA fosters the harmonization of electrotechnical product standards, conformity assessment test requirements, and electrical codes between all of the democracies of the western hemisphere. It provides a forum for harmonization discussions and, upon agreement, the draft harmonized standards are then processed by the respective standards developer in each country, in accordance with that SDO’s procedures. CANENA is not a standards developing organization. The ultimate objectives of CANENA are to have one standard for a product for all of the western hemisphere; submit the product to a conformance assessment testing laboratory in one of the countries; and, upon successful completion of the testing, receive listings in all countries.

Ecma International (ECMA)
ECMA is an industry association dedicated to the standardization of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and Consumer Electronics (CE) in co-operation with the appropriate national, European and international organizations. ECMA is driven by industry to meet the needs of industry, generating a healthy competitive landscape based on differentiation of products and services, rather than technology models.

European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization (CENELEC)
CENELEC is a non-profit technical organization set up under Belgian law and composed of the National Electrotechnical Committees of 29 European countries. CENELEC’s mission is to prepare voluntary electrotechnical standards that help develop the Single European Market/European Economic Area for electrical and electronic goods and services removing barriers to trade, creating new markets and cutting compliance costs.

European Committee for Standardization (CEN)
CEN was founded in 1961 by the national standards bodies in the European Economic Community and EFTA countries. CEN contributes to the objectives of the European Union and European Economic Area with voluntary technical standards which promote free trade, the safety of workers and consumers, interoperability of networks, environmental protection, exploitation of research and development programmes, and public procurement.

European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI)
ETSI is an independent, nonprofit organization that is officially responsible for standardization of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) within Europe. These technologies include telecommunications, broadcasting, and related areas such as intelligent transportation and medical electronics.

Pacific Area Standards Congress (PASC)
PASC is a forum of standards body representatives from the Pacific Rim countries. The members of PASC have adopted by consensus a number of important resolutions concerning international standardization, the work of ISO and IEC, and communication and interrelationships among PASC members. PASC is concerned not only with standards preparation but also with conformance to standards.
