Description: IEEE Std 1387.3-1996 (System Administration Interface/User and Group Administration for Computer Operating System Environments) is part of the POSIX/sup (R)/ series of standards for applications and user interfaces to open systems. The purpose of this standard is to provide a common set of utility programs for the administration of the User and Group Account entities described in the ISO/IEC 9945-1:1996 (IEEE Std 1003.1-1996) and ISO/IEC 9945-2:1993 (IEEE Std 1003.2-1992) standards.
