If I'm an IEEE member, do I get a discount
on IEEE Standards Products? For orders placed directly with the IEEE Sales Office, IEEE members receive a 20% discount off the list price on the first copy of each standard ordered. Substantial savings are included in the price of IEEE Standards' collections and sets. In lieu of the 20% member discount, we have established specialized IEEE member pricing for these products. You must provide your member number when placing an order.
What information should I have handy when I
place my order with IEEE? It's helpful to our Sales Representatives if you have either the standard's numeric designation (i.e., IEEE Std 241-1993) or the standard's IEEE part number (i.e., STD95724). This information is listed in the IEEE online catalog, however, our Sales Representatives can help you even if you don't have this information.
What do I have to do to send a company
purchase order? A company purchase order (PO) can be mailed or faxed to us. The PO must be on company letterhead or a company purchase order form. The PO must include the handling charge, sales tax (if applicable), a PO number and a signature. If applicable, you must include your tax-exempt number or IEEE member number.
