The IEEE P1076.1™ Working Group (WG) announces a Call for Participation to review and revise IEEE 1076.1™-2007, VHDL Analog and Mixed-Signal Extensions.
IEEE 1076.1 is a superset of IEEE 1076™ VHDL Language Reference Manual; the extended language is informally called VHDL-AMS.
This revision of IEEE 1076.1 will:
- incorporate changes in the base IEEE 1076 language introduced in
its 2008 revision
- adapt the IEEE 1076.1 definitions to be consistent with these changes
- add selected new functionality to the language
Since its formation in 2011, the IEEE 1076.1 Working Group has identified several technologies to be considered for inclusion in the revision, but is open to evaluate new technologies. More information is available in the Projects area at the IEEE P1076.1 WG web site.
The IEEE P1076.1 WG is seeking participants from industries and universities interested in simulation and modeling of components and systems using an analog and mixed-signal hardware description language. This may include users from IC design, power electronics, automotive, aerospace, telecom and other related industries, electronic design automation professionals, and researchers in related fields.
Participants will be involved in identifying and defining new functionality, reviewing documents, and other tasks that are part of the revision process.
