LV3.6.10 - 3.6.10 Surge Protection of Equipment Connected to Both LV AC Power and Communication Circuits WG
Develop a guide for the application of multi-service (multi-port) surge protectors to protect equipment connected to ac power and communication circuits.The guide will consider and discuss coordination of the multi-service (multi-port) surge protective devices with other AC and communication circuit protection.The guide will be limited to premises served by 120/240 V ac power, with the neutral bonded to ground at the service entrance.The guide limits its scope to only addressing metallic communications conductors.
