42010 WG - Architectural Description Working Group
Working Group P42010 is conducting the joint revision of IEEE Std 1471:2000 with ISO/IEC JTC1/SC7. ISO adopted IEEE 1471 as an international standard (ISO/IEC 42010) in 2007. The revised standard focuses on best practices for the documentation of software, systems and enterprise architectures, architecture viewpoints and architecture frameworks. Future work of WG P42010 will build upon the foundation established by IEEE 1471, in the areas of architecture review and assessment, and architecting process.
