P1861 - Guide for On-site Acceptance Tests of Electrical Equipment and System Commissioning of 1000 kV AC and Above

This guide applies to on-site acceptance tests of electrical equipment and system commissioning of 1000 kV and above. It identifies a criterion and recommendations for test items, conditions, methods, and results. The stated recommendations, both technical and testing, are universally needed for on-site acceptance tests and commissioning of 1000 kV AC and above, including power transformers, reactors, capacitive voltage transformers, current transformers, gas-insulated substations, grounding and disconnect switches, bushings, arresters, suspension and post insulators, insulating oil, SF6, secondary circuits, overhead transmission lines, and grounding devices.
